Self-taught artist, I spend the majority of my days as a Scientist at a National Lab and the rest of my time creating art.
While work brought me to the Mountains of Colorado the breath-taking views, world-class fishing, and beautiful wildlife has made my time here truly amazing.
I love to experiment in any and every medium, from soft pastels, india ink, water colors, gouache, markers, colored pencils, gel-pens, digital painting, graphite, to charcoal. Mixed media is how I prefer to create my works and they are usually recognized by the use of bright vibrant colors and deep black sketchy line work.
Themes of fly fishing, wildlife, pet portraits, etc. I have a profound love for sharing my creative works with the masses and with that interest I make everything myself (yes including all the stickers, prints, etc.) to make sure that my prices are affordable to all! You will also see me post the creative process in time-lapse videos on my social media, when I have time to record!
And yes this is me as a child! It is just one of those pictures that is too good not to share! Ha ha!
I am very fortunate to have my own studio in my house. There I can draw up what ever inspires me, record time lapse videos, manufacture stickers, make and inspect fine art prints, along with sublimating apparel and gifts.
If you ever have a need for help getting your own artwork printed I love helping others! So don't be afraid to reach out!
