want something unique?
Commissions are a great way to get something special and can make a great gift for others (or yourself).
While most of my examples are pet portraits feel free to ask about any ideas you may have! I particularly like to draw Fish, birds, wild animals, Plants, Food, etc. I will let you know if it is something that I can do!
How it works
1. Choose Your Subject!
Gather up your reference photo! This is particularly important for pet portraits, try to find a high quality images so I can get those little details that make your pets personality. We will communicate back and forth through email about your references and what you would like to see. So don’t feel like your reference photos need to be perfect right away.
2. Choose Your Size, Medium, and Add-ons
I offer a verity of sizes, mediums, and add-on items. Digital Drawings are faster and easier to make changes, that is why they are more affordable. Original Drawings are on 200 gsm mixed media heavyweight paper and based on the subject the medium used can be a combination of soft pastels, ink, markers, watercolors, colored pencils, gouache, acrylics, etc. and you will receive the original drawing. Add-on items can be extra prints, stickers, greeting cards, or rush completion. Please reach out if you have any questions about the options!
3. MOST IMPORTANT STEP!! Email Your Reference Photos
In order to get started I need to know what you want me to draw! So reply to your order confirmation with your images attached. I will respond within 24 hours with questions about your images and try to get a better understanding about what you like and dislike and my current time frame to completion.
4. Sketch/ Composition Approval
Once I start working on your commission you will receive an email with a composition sketch attached. This is your chance to make changes if you want them since once I get approval it is really difficult to make additional changes. We will work back and forth to make sure you are happy with how the drawing is going to turn out! So keep a look out on your email and I look forward to your feedback!
5. Finishing the Commission
Based on your feedback on the approval sketch I will work on completing the commission! If it is taking me longer than a week I will send you progress shots just to keep you up to date! I want you to be involved in the process as much as possible, so if you ever have any questions reach out! Once I am done I will send you the final image and let you know I am about to ship!
6. Shipping and Receiving Your Commission
With all commissions I cover the shipping costs for 1-3 day shipping. I will send you the tracking information and will keep an eye on it to make sure it arrives safely, so don’t be surprised if I email you to make sure everything is safe and as you expected! Feel free to reach out if there is anything else I can help with! And I truly hope you love your new commission and as always feel free to tag me on social media!
